The first year I moved here, it went down to minus 15.

That's unusual. But. Not THAT unusual. I do have a minus 20 degree LL Bean Winter coat (must weigh 20 pounds :wink:

shudder. i like the cold but like most here i like it relative to the heat we have in the summer.35 is cold but it's not really that cold for a lot of people until you compare it to the 100s we generally have in the summer. Also, I can't stand the wind. If it were 35 and not windy i'd probably be out running in it but my winter running gear can't handle 35 and 30 mph winds.

sweet sweet 70 cents PE on a Saturday morning. I'm hoping for $4 today lol. we shall see. I'm stuck in all day because I have to work my IRL job in the afternoon but hopefully it won't be too crazy busy and I can do some turking too.

best present my father and stepmother ever got me was a pair of LL Bean flannel-lined work boots - still have 'em 15 years later. Don't often need them, but man o man, but when i do, they're a godsend
