Oh I haven't really messed with rods, I sorta stick to structural. It's a little more interesting climbing stuff as opposed to just being bent over all day tying.

I know. I researched them.
I know like 15 or 20, off-hand. Had to list them one time for a study. Trivial things come in handy at the oddest times.

How about this one? It works best with the ones that have the cheap plastic corks. Take a sharp pencil and drive it all the way through the cork until the unpainted part of the tip is in the wine. Let it sit for 10-20 minutes until it starts to swell. Pull pencil up until its against the cork. Weeble wobble pencil in a a circular motion and slowly walk cork out of bottle.

That works. Those plastic corks are great for a screw and some tugging. The plastic doesn't shred like a real cork.

Well, once you've got a hole in the top, you've solved the problem. When your guests ask you why the wine is dribbling out the bottle, you tell them it's a new opening procedure.

I understand how they get the kitchen licensed, it just being a normal restaurant kitchen but, you'd think that one swipe of a blacklight would prevent them from bringing anything(food related) into the "Main hall" area.

Well, once you've got a hole in the top, you've solved the problem. When your guests ask you why the wine is dribbling out the bottle, you tell them it's a new opening procedure.

It lets the wine breathe as you pour. They're just starting to do it in France. It's new.
That's what I'd say, very confidently.
