Does anyone invest? I was thinking about investing some money but looking for pointers.

I use Stash on my phone for investing. It's a nice app for starting out. You can start out with small amounts to experiment with, and you can buy fractional shares of stocks so you don't need a lot of money to start out with a diverse portfolio.

They have a lot of funds broken out by social causes also, which makes it easier to invest in things you believe in.
