If you use hitfinder in the mturk suite you can set it to use the new mturk site and can set it to refresh as often as one second w/out pres.

Really depends on what else you have running for PandAs. I run it at 2 seconds and set the pay to .35. I feel 5 seconds is way too much time with high paying surveys that disappear in a second. I run it as fast as possible without getting PRE's. And I usually only watch my "Logged HITs" Tab.
