I'm not feeling too great about this 'update to internal reporting system' thing... something is broken and maybe they don't have the resources or will to fix it. I feel bad for the poor developers working on this neglected project :/

My husband is a web developer and I used to work at the same company as well, so I know the kind of crap that goes on in terms of screwy deployments, database upgrades breaking everything, etc, and management caring or not caring based on political gain of the project -- it can be very demoralizing to be stuck on a dying or neglected project! Anyway maybe none of that is going on, but it doesn't seem like it's high priority for them to fix it, or it would be fixed by now!
