Frustrated - I'm short 4 cents to get a $10 gift card - There has not been one single study anywhere for a iPhone since I unboxed mine yesterday!

You know what, I don't think this relates to mturking at all. I guess I got a 1095-A for having covered california....Since 8962 is for health insurance.

1095-a is sent to you to prove you were covered by a health policy that meets the minimum coverages under the obamacare law and i think 8962 is the form that computes if you got too much, not enough or just right govt subsidy to help you pay your policy premium.

i'm guessing you reported you were covered by a health insurance policy meeting minimum coverages for the year and the irs can't find proof of that so they are requesting you send proof and complete the 8962 form. if you weren't covered or had an insurance policy that is essentially a worthless savings card, you will owe a penalty for not having a proper medical insurance policy.
