The study is related to determining individual performance on a task under performance-based pay. You will be asked to complete two different tasks, a letter search task and a decode task. If you participate in this study, we will ask you some questions about how you felt about the tasks and your performance on the tasks. You will also be asked some demographic questions to allow us to analyze and compare the responses that we collect. The entire duration of the study is expected to take approximately 30 minutes of your time to complete; although you can take as long as you would like. You will receive $3.00 USD in fixed remuneration for performing the two tasks and for filling out the survey questions. You will receive this fixed amount regardless of how well you perform on the experimental tasks. In addition to this fixed amount, you may or may not receive additional remuneration depending on the task requirements and your performance.
