It was discussed, but as far as I know nothing was confirmed? They may not say Android only like the app ones, but the screenshot instructions still only mention Android. I would say it's safe to assume that these HITs are for testing Android stuff.

Personally for me, the HIT asked for a screenshot from an Android. Which leads me to believe that they are looking for how the app performs, is displayed, etc on an Android phone. My turk account, along with the fun coupons it provides me, is important to me so I tend to follow the HIT instructions. Just because someone has been doing them with an iPhone and hasn't been rejected ... well, that's not in my personal comfort zone ... ymmv.
