If it's obviously the same and an actual survey that they woudln't benefit from having the same info
twice from the same person, better to return.

Congrats! I have had that happen once or twice and returned it - to avoid a rejection. You might try using Hit DB if you aren't already. It will let you check if you've done a particular HIT for a particular requester. It's useful especially when you're just getting started.
