I don't know exactly how long it took because I had about 400 breaks in between reading the stories. But if you do it all in one go it probably takes 8-9 minutes. Good HIT.

You basically do academic surveys for British currency. In my experience, the survey pay is more than appropriate for the time it takes to complete them. Pays through PayPal. Kinda neat looking at £20.00 and knowing it's a few more in USD.

I cashed mine in last week. 23.77 in pounds converted to $33.00 US dollars.. I thought that was cool.

The worst for me was t-ball. I tried so hard not to interfere. I stayed on the bench, politely knitting. Very rarely clapping. Never yelling at my daughter. I wanted this to be HER experience.

The first year, her inattention was cute. The second year, I did get annoyed at the woman who saw my daughter drawing in the dirt near second base (sitting, mind you, back to the batter - 'cause that''s safe). I almost said something when one woman got up from the bench, pointed towards my daughter, laughing: "Whose daughter is that? She should be on American's funniest home videos."

I kept knitting. No reason to out myself to HER. She and everyone else sitting with her was laughing.

But my absolute limit was the third year when she tried to co-opt the outfield into a game of toss with her mitt. By this point, they were attentive and interested (she actually had grabbed the coach's son - turning him from the game - as he valiantly struggled, trying to reverse course and WATCH the batter.

I'm averaging ~$80.00 USD/month right now, just trying to see if that's on par with what I could be making.

I probably make $30 a month but I only do prolific when:

a) There isn't good paying work on mturk
b) I feel like doing work.

so obviously I don't do a lot of prolific work.
