It's Mike Judge. It's good. It had a bunch of fantastic actors in it. I think it's on netflix. Not a horror film. Have you seen Pontypool?

EDIT - maybe I'm wrong about the Mike Judge thing. Not sure what movie I was thinking of that he was involved with. Office Space?
Yeah Todd Solondz wrote/directed Happiness and other very, erm, original films. Mike Judge is the genius behind Office Space, the prescient Idiocracy, Silicon Valley, etc. And Beavis and Butthead and King of the Hill

I think I always associated the cartoon cover with Mike Judge. Solondz... Welcome to the Dollhouse? Another one that I've only watched once because it made me so uncomfortable.

Meh, I got my dog from the pound nine years ago. She was really quiet and tame. What I didn't understand at the time was that she had distemper. I had to nurse her through that stuff. It took weeks, trying to keep her fed and hydrated. I sent several emails to the pound that I adopted her from. Mostly just inquiries about whether or not any other dogs were infected. They were like "Hey it's OK, you can bring her back, we'll replace her".

Bastards wanted me to bring back the dog that I had been caring for so that they could put her down properly and keep their secrets. Turned out that a lot of dogs in that shelter were infected. I ended up sending some letters to the editor of the local paper. It was too late for some of those babies but others made it out alive

She's ended up being a real handful. Once she recovered she was unstoppable. She's also unbelievably protective. That's my dog you know.
It's unbelievable they just offered you an "exchange!" It's a dog. I can't believe a shelter would act like that. Well, actually I can but it still pisses me off. I'm so happy it turned out well for your dog in the end and that you were able to help save some of the other puppies.

I only donate to specific rescues that I've done my research on.

I did the thing that I'm never supposed to do tonight. That being the 5 hour energy shot. It makes me kind of manic and the boyfriend can always tell. I lie, and try to repress the hyper behavior, but he always knows. He's doing a catering event for his Mason buddies tonight. I truly think I can act like a normal girl on this occasion. I think

It went a lot deeper than that. The woman who was in charge of the shelter ended up coming under a lot of scrutiny. She no longer works there. In the end there were things revealed about the vet that she was recommending for the nueters and the spays. I would link you to an article, but it includes my full name.

I'm gonna add a second, crappy monitor I found in the garage to my set up. I don't know what the fuck I'm doing but a lot of turkers seem to have two monitors and I want to be cool like them.

This didn't happen down in KY, did it? I went through some shit when I adopted my dog. Someone got her and was moving out of state to an apartment and couldn't keep her. I didn't know she was a rescue or where she had come from. I did have a ton of paperwork on her - those people had continued to use the same vet the "rescue" used. I had called to check on the origins/health concerns bc when I got our girl she was completely deaf and super skinny. She'd (rescue) supposedly had them since they were born. She said there was nothing wrong with the dog, etc. Told me to surrender to her immediately as she was her property. The woman threatened to sue me, said she was calling from the courthouse bc she wanted the dog back (when I found out she was scamming people and lying.) She didn't know that I was in contact with the sheriff in her county at the time and knew she was full of it. She showed up at the person's house who originally adopted the dog with her son as "muscle" brandishing a knife. She was nuts. I happened to have a friend who was a federal magistrate write her a cease and desist letter and never heard another word.
