Its really easy, you could go to frys or microcenter and pick up one of those $8 hobby ones and practice on some junk cheapo caps

I... this is something that I can never do right. I have two basses that are in perpetual "just a little bit too much buzz"

Knitting protip: if you are coming from crochet and are having trouble getting the hang of knitting, make sure you are learning how to knit from sources/videos/people that knit "Continental"/picking style. You hold the yarn in your left hand for this method, so the movements are more similar to crochet than English/American/"throwing."

I'm going to buy a sewing machine soon! I can sew a little, but I've never made anything big (no dress, ect - and I can't sew a zipper in........yet . But buying a machine seems overwhelming. Such a complicated choice............
