In Canada you will be excluded from some, as there are quite a few that are US only. But over $5 hits are rare/not that easy to catch even with a US qual. We usually celebrate when we get one.

What you can make a day varies by what you put into it and how fast you acquire qualifications (meaning "closed qualifications" so only people with those qualifications can work on certain hits). Yesterday I was home sick and made almost $40, but normally I *try* for $20 per day. I often fail at that because I have a full-time job. But even half-paying attention I can pull in $15 and that's with having to let hits go that I can't do from work that I could do if I was at home.

So yeah, it totally varies. Your earnings will increase over time, though, so stick with it if you don't mind the variability of this type of work.

Also install scripts or extensions like Mturk Suite to help you find and capture hits (most of my hits are caught by running an PandA).

if you have the hide instructions script, disable that one, if not go thru the scripts running and stop them one at a time to see which one it is.

My thing Is, this was a qualed HIT. And if that's the case, you shouldn't have to fight to get accepted to participate today. Should be plenty of room to join.
