The other day Reddit had a thread about earning side money and someone recommended government health studies. I live next to a few pretty large research universities and decided to look into it.

I got myself registered for a study where I supplement fish oil and do some baseline fitness tests (walking, jogging, etc). All I have to do is 1 physical and 3 test days. Total payment is $1,600. I'm about to go all in on the human guinea pig approach.

my boyfriend used to do these! he had to stay there for 2 weeks having his vitals checked every hour or so and got about $3k. Can't remember what else he had to do, but he said he basically just sat around watching tv and chilling with the other participants.

I used to have an old friend that did that. He would make bank. Whether it was a day or two, or doing a week or two study. Some were in patient, some were out where he just had to check in. Usually around a grand or more for the stuff. This was a good 8 years ago so don't know how well they pay now.

If I can get some video games and some congical visits I'm in.

The ones my friend did back in the day, they had Xboxes and Playstations and shit. He could bring his laptop and phone. Basically got paid to take pills and chill.

That's crazy! This one is just go in for a basic physical then come back for a 4 hour fitness test once a month for the next 3 months.

you can't go 2 weeks for $3k?
