Just joined the waitlist for prolific. Anyone that uses it and if so what are your thoughts?

I regularly make more money there than I do on mturk. contesting unfair rejections is a bit more tedious but i like 3 months I've only had one rejection. Just keep an eye on the exchange rate and don't cash out if its super low like it is right now.

its been better then turk the past few weeks. that and the requesters are more or less better there. Payment is usually better for the hourly rate. Less hoops you have to go through when doing studies as well which makes it less complicated. Sometimes there are days where you only see one or two studies though.

i only had one requester on there that was a pain in the butt with overturning a rejection. but they only rejected me because of frustration Kept saying i did not provide data, which i provided them screenshots stating i did. then tried to say that i did not contact them on each study first to find out if I am able to work on them.... (lmao what a joke) . which i reminded them that is now how to conduct studies on prolific and ended up reporting them to prolific and they reversed my rejections. Typically all of the requesters i have communicated with on there have responded more promptly then requesters on Mturk. and are more polite. At least in my experience.
