I grew up outside of Raleigh, but my rents live outside of Asheville. I'm trying to convince the BF that Western North Carolina wouldn't be so bad to move to later on. Cheaper than out here (Pacific NW).

I also love Asheville! It's become such a cool town.

I'm in SC about an hour away. Western NC is great but so is the Pacific NW! I love Hendersonville too - great little town!

Yea, I love it out here. We're moving down to Portland in August and will probably be there for 4 years or so. I can't wait to live there, even though we will be broke as shit and spending any money we earn just because it's Portland. But long term I would like some land either out there or maybe Montana.
