Description: Hello! We are researchers from the Attention, Perception, & EXperience (APEX) Lab, located in the University of Chicago, IL. We are doing a research study on positions on certain issues. In this study, you will be asked to complete several tasks and questionnaires. The tasks vary in type, including problem solving as well as reading and responding to hypothetical situations. Questions on questionnaires ask to reflect on personal experiences, both related and unrelated to the present task.

Participation should take about 10 to 15 minutes. You will be compensated $1.80 for your participation.

Stonecrop - Autumn Joy is my favourite breed. All stonecrop can be ignored completely and still be as happy as a dandelion in a sidewalk crack. Some are tall, some are low and better for creeping or borders. Autumn Joy is tall and the flowers that form change colors from light pink to deep red. (I'm in PA, zone 6A IIRC and the 4 different stonecrop I grow always come back every year. I use those and hostas as my "yay! Spring has sprung!" guide)

how does comminity solar work? people buy in to a solar system and get its benefits without having to buy a system individually?

my dad's solar system was installed a week or so ago. waiting on the power company to install the meter that tracks how much excess he is putting into the grid before he can flip the switch on.

I qualify for DC's Solar For All program, which doesn't have a buy-in cost and is for low/moderate income people who may not have the money to pay for solar panels or rent an apartment, so can't install them. Just need to sign up for it and I've bought my share of a solar panel.

Basically, the panels are set up on top of another building and you are getting some of your energy from the solar, The solar credits take money off your electric bill and you only pay a bit of the electric that wasn't covered by the energy generated by solar. Bill may be higher when there isn't as much sunshine - like during winter or a particularly rainy non-winter month.
