Anecdotal Usertesting update:
A few months ago, I received my first one star feedback on Usertesting [after 10+, 5 star ratings, and many non rated tests, the past few years]. The test designer had, in my opinion, created a gendered web page, that had sexism issues, and I talked about it.
The one star, along with the written feedback, was unfair, and directly correlated with my naming the sexism of the design issues, in my perception. It looked like retaliation for naming a bias issue.
I wrote Usertesting. They wrote back and closed out my request to evaluate it, left it standing. Thought it was a lost cause, one star.
Recently, I received a random Usertesting update - they deleted the one star after review. The written feedback was not helpful contextually, although they DID remove the bad rating, after a few months.
Just one Usertesting experience. YMMV.
