[The Bad Ash]

I don't know if this strategy will help,but I do Uber on Fridays and Saturdays only now because Friday everybody usually gets paid and Saturday people want to go out to the clubs,movies and eat. Saves wear and tear on the car.
I also deliver pizza on Sunday only during the football season.
Also Uber riders are terrible tippers compared to pizza customers. No comparision as I can make over a $100-$150 in tips delivering pizza on a football Sunday to maybe $5 from Uber riders.

That was my plan. I figured I'd just do it when Mturk is slow. Fridays and Saturdays are ideal. THe only reason i'm even doing it today and another day this week is because they're doing a promotion. If I do 15 rides by friday i'll get a $55 bonus. That actually seems worth it.

That definitely depends where you live. As a rider it beats the holy hell out of taxi's. As a driver, like I said, Mturk can be better sometimes. And I work in a big city.

No, they are much less expensive.

Much cheaper for me to take Uber or Lyft. They show up much faster too but I'm in a smaller city.

Being a driver though is a much different story. Please everybody give all your Uber drivers 5 stars because even 3 or 4 stars ruins our rating according to Uber management policy.

I tried it out a few times as a rider because I was snowed in and the Uber driver came right to me,so no complaints as a Uber rider.
Being a driver though is a much different story. Please everybody give all your Uber drivers 5 stars because even 3 or 4 stars ruins our rating according to Uber management policy.

I care SO much more about my Mturk approval rating than Uber. I'm still so new that I haven't been fully rated. But my acceptance rate is like 45%. That's gonna be a problem for me because I just cruise around listening to STyx or some shit and miss half the "requests". Good thing I don't care too much.

I rather Mturk than drive Uber. Uber is really good though part-time like one or two days a week. Full-time I wouldn't recommend.
