None of this would be a problem if more requesters simply used the Masters qualification which is the holy grail of ensuring data quality.

it isn't just reddit drama, it applies to mturk as a whole

what would potentially new requesters think if they saw some fearmongering nonsense like that on any public mturk forum? it's the requester's fault for not taking action against workers actively scamming them, and having that nonsense posted by someone proclaiming to be the voice of mturk communities in general is honestly stupid.
