Why not just eat what nature, God, the universe, or whatever you want to call it provided for us in it's unadulterated form? This program is making very healthy foods like beans, legumes, tubers like potatoes, nuts, and fruits all out to be the devil. Why can't we eat healthy all foods in their natural state and call it a day? I was taught that some foods that are high in carbs can actually reverse disease and that food high in saturated fat's, cholesterol, and trans fat should be eaten in moderation.
How do we know who's right and who's wrong in terms of best diet? Or should we just eat the way nature intended us to eat (whole all natural foods)? Not looking for a debate my friend, just want some opinions and input from others to better educate me on this topic .

if you don't want to do it, then don't! plenty of people do just fine with an IIFYM style approach. i just cant do that.
