she's still in HS (senior) so college is next. I have no idea where she'll go. She's been lobbying to go back to FL - to one of the huge, impersonal universities.

She likes one school in NY - and has been looking at a few others. I've been wanting her to go to Bennington - not because it's close - but because it's so interesting (no grades, just learning and so artsy). She's really nice, not competitive, and hates traditional learning (all the things I loved!). But she'd do well in an artsy school - so that might be a better match than a big uni.

Nope, not necessary. The little wind storm we got is doing that quite effectively. Wind, internet off, phone dead. Wind, internet off, phone dead. All day yesterday. Off/on, off/on. Today is better, but not much. I figure I'm being told that I can't do much right now...Nap time!
