Now I feel bad. I was so upset about a requester, rejecting my little 50 cent hit yesterday that I went all John Belushi....

and here i was feeling all bad for you because i saw it in yesterday's daily but the thread was locked in order to reply that requester had accepted mine.

new turker rule: wait 24 hours when getting ready to inquire about a rejection. that's what i did with my first prolific rejection the other day. i figured i'd get over my anger and be in a more professional mood to write my inquiry message.

Yes, that's right. The base fee is $6.00. As long as you don't let the time expire too many times, you get a $4.00 active participation bonus. Then, you get a performance bonus based on all the points you earned in the game (you'll earn points each round as long as you submit your decision on time, but the point of the game is to try and figure out how to get the highest amount of points). Then, you also get a waiting room bonus, which covers any time you might have to wait to be matched up with a group. I think today most people got their group in less than 5 minutes, but you will never have to wait more than 10 minutes (the game is programmed to prevent this). Depending on the wait time bonus, most people get over $16 total (base fee plus all the different bonuses).

Woke up middle of the night thinking i was gonna die of a heart attack, after feeling like death for 2 hrs while googling what was going on i came to the conclusion that i have GERD. Any good otc meds recommendations ?

i like otc heartburn reducer and a diet change. when i come across a period of heartburn, i take the otc, cut back on salsa, green chile, caffeine and chocolate and in a few days i'm back to good as new.
