Anyone use a greenhouse during the winter in the south for any plants/herbs/etc?

I'd like to but I don't use my temporary greenhouse as it seems to cook the plants rather than keeps them warm.

Going to try indoor green chile peppers this winter just for kicks. I have a feeling it won't work well due to shorter sunshine hours and too even of temperatures indoors rather than a nice diurnal temperature.

I'm sorry, I don't know how to act anymore. The sexual harassment training I got on Saturday didn't prepare me to work in an environment where most of the ladies wear leggings (I got a job). I know its 2019 and it's been a long time since I've been out in public. I'm afraid I'll do something wrong and not realize it, so I'm considering wearing horse blinders until I figure it out.
