Been getting lucky with random crap and still only at $9. I have no clue where the money is. Other than maybe random Masters tasks I can't do (or maybe the Pins were biased in their favor and let them do 50, when there were only like 40 available, and I only got to do 1...).

Are you running a panda for them? If you are then you are out of the game before the bell rings most of the time. These ones that recently have been popping up every couple hours I have to grab right off HF and I get 1 to 3 each time.
