Afternoon everyone! Husband is napping and I thought I'd see what is going on here. Which appears to be nothing. We might put up the Christmas tree today. I'm not a big fan of Christmas, but the husband likes it. So, we compromised and have a little skinny white tree that only lights on it, so he gets a tree and I don't have to feel like scrooge every time I walk into the living room and am forced to see a big ol' tree full of ornaments. Plus, it requires little in the way of putting up and taking down and I'm lazy.

As a side note, I usually make sure the tree is down by Dec 26 or the 27th at latest. I was banned last year from taking it down the evening of Christmas though. Hey, the festivities were done! Time to look towards spring!

i personally think whipped cream is one of the best things on the planet

For years I thought I hated whipped cream, and then I needed to make it by hand and discovered homemade whipped cream is much different than cool whip or the canned stuff.
