I call that TURKFOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). It's hard to avoid feeling like you're missing out on something every time you step away from the computer, but you've just got to accept that you are just going to miss-out on stuff all the time, even when you're right there at your computer. I can't count the number of times I've finally caught some high-value HIT and get busy working on it, only to have some even more lucrative batch drop right when I'm in the middle of the HIT.
Also, you have to remember that when you see one, two, or ten people posting about some sweet batch that drops, there's probably another 100-200 people who missed the boat and are silent on the forums about missing-out. It's easy to feel like your the only one missing-out because we tend to accept the the collective voices of the crowd of workers as a singular voice, reminding you about all of the good stuff you're missing out on... But when you look at the weekly earnings posts, you realize that, yes, there are a handful of people absolutely killing it, but there's many more people who are just doing modestly well... so clearly everyone else is not catching each and every $$$ batch at the optimal times, while you're missing out.
